Heyy People!

 Last year I did an interview with Samantha Boscarino (who plays alicia in the Clique movie). Some of you probably didn't get to read it. I only gave out several of the interview questions, but found that selfish.
I give Clique information so why not give all of it?

Here it is. I'll also put a link on the right side of my blog so you can read it whenever you want. =)

1. You sung Find My Place for the Clique soundtrack. Do you plan on recording an album in the future?


When I sang Find My Place, I didnt think it would be as successful as it was today. I am working on my music and i hope to have an album, but i dont want anyone to really know yet... because if it doesnt happen, i dont want to disappoint anyone.

2. Did you read PS I Loathe You? If so, do you like the way Alicia acted?

Ive read PS I Loathe You, and its a great novel. Alicia is a very Sassy character, and tends to break Massie's rules. I think she just needed a break from Massie, so she started her own squad.
3. How was it like shooting The Perfect Game?

The Perfect Game was awesome, all the cast members were so nice. It really got me more connected with baseball.
4. Describe Alicia's style in the movie.

Alicia's character in the movie is a very stylish character, and shes very..like.. sassy.
5. What was it like working with the other girls in The Clique?

They were all so different from their characters. Elizabeth is not like Massie at all, she is the complete opposite a total sweetheart, and she has been a Massie and Claire, havent we all? The same thing with the other cast members.
I also liked working with Lisi Harrison, because i read the Clique books before I auditioned for the movie, and Tyra, because i watch Americas Next Top Model sometimes.
6. Have you ever met the Clique models?

Not all of them. Ive met Alicia's model, and Kristen's model.
7. What do you like doing beside acting?

I love dancing. I take Jazz, Hip Hop, and Ballet. I also love to sing.
8. I just heart Alicia's wardrobe. Did her style influence what you wear now?

I loved the leopard print outfit too! That was my favourite one. Her style got me to dress more classy, definately. Before, I was still a fashion-freak, but now it has gone up. Not only Alicia's wardrobe inspired me though. I loved the bohemian styles that Dylan would wear, and Massie would wear things i like, along with Kristen. I even adored some things on Claire.

9. Do you still keep in touch with the Clique cast?

Yeah, we all keep in touch alot. We all have the iChat thing going on. We have alot of email addresses though. I have 2 fan email addresses, one personal hotmail email address, one personal iChat email address, and one personal AOL email address. We even copied the Friday Night Sleepovers.

10. The role you envy and would love to get cast for.
In the clique or outside of the clique? if its inside the clique, at first i auditioned for Massie, but they said "Oh no, I think you would be good as Alicia" and that was fine, because i loved Alicia too, but it wasnt what i auditioned for. If you mean outside of the clique, I really want to be apart of a disney movie, even a show would be great. I was on disney before, alot of times, I did a High School Musical commercial for it.

Bridget news flash!

From J-14:

Disney just announced a new series! Set to premiere in 2010, their new comedy series Good Luck Charlie, stars Jason Dolley and Bridget Mendler. The show is about a family who's lives go bonkers when a new baby sister, Charlie, arrives. Bridget plays Teddy and Jason plays Casey, who are the two oldest siblings. At the end each episode, Teddy makes a video diary for Charlie about the day's crazy adventures.

Although this is Bridget's first big role on a Disney series, she is no stranger to DC. She played Nick Jonas' love interest on JONAS and will be on a special episode of Wizards of Waverly Place, "Wizards vs. Vampires" where she plays Justin's (David Henrie) Vampire GF. "Wizards vs. Vampires" premieres on Friday, June 24 at 8 pm ET/PT.

Just to let you guys know, Bridget just shot her first live taping August 28th. I hope it's going OK. =)

Again, on a web called Social Butterflies, they posted :

“Good Luck Charlie”, which was originally titled “Oops”, follows two teenagers, Teddy and Casey Holliday, and their 10-year-old brother, Gabe, whose parents enlist their help when they return to work after the birth of their fourth child, Charlotte, aka Charlie. With their parents juggling full time careers, the older Holliday siblings pitch in, getting very familiar with baby formula, burp clothes and babysitting while navigating typical teenage life.

In each episode Teddy creates a personalized video diary for Charlie. Each video will chronicle Teddy’s daily adventures and mishaps for Charlie to use as advice when her big sister is no longer living at home.
Starring in the new series are Bridgit Mendler, Jason Dolley, Bradley Steven Perry, Eric Allan Kramer, Leigh Allyn Baker. The series began shooting a few months back, and origionally allowed for a fan audience, but since changed its policy. Good Luck Charlie will premiere on the Disney Channel beginning in 2010.

Ellen Marlow (who plays Amy Benedict) shot an episode for ABC's the Forgotten (called Pilot) which premieres September 22nd.

Samantha Boscarino's film (in which she plays Gloria) the Perfect Game (with Jake T. Austin and Moises Arias) got released on March 21st in Mexico.

Sophia Everhard shot a tv episode for Lincoln Heights that aired this summer.

Vanessa Marano (layne)'s Dear Lemon Lima (with Meghan Jette Martin) which came out in 2009. She also shot in the TV Series "Dexter" in which she plays Rebecca Simmons. And a couple episodes for "The Young and the Restless" in which she plays Eden Gerick.

David Chisum (Mr. Block): Played in 2 episodes of the remake of 90210 in which he plays Greg.

Dylan Minnette (Todd) : played in 1 episode of Supernatural (Danny Carter), and shot about 11 episodes in the TV series "Saving Grace"

Shelby Stanton (Jenna): plays Sheila in Indian Hill. Story happens in 1975 about a twelve year old boy named Jack.

Lisa Masters (Mrs Marvil): Movie It's Complicated (with Meryl Streep) filming it. She plays a woman on an elevator.

Stephen Guarino (Vincent AKA weird art teacher): played Jeff the assistant in Shoots and Ladders, Allon in Confessions of a Shopoholic, a demonstrator in An English man in New York, Bill in I Hate Valentine's Day, and he's working as Brent in BearCity

Angel Desai (nurse Adele): 1 episode in the Eleventh Hour, 2 episodes in  Kings, she plays Sophie Alvarez in 2 episodes of Dollhouse, and she finished playing Rasha Hamali in Washington Fields.

Julie Lauren (MRs. Block) : is going to play Debbie in Rabbit Hole.

Neal Matarazzzo (Mr. Lyons): 2 episodes in Law and Order: Speacial Victims Unit (played Ezra Kriegrel and Mr. Tamkin)

Dale Appel (upscale shopper) : played wedding guest in Bride Wars (i heart tht movie btw), mall shopper in Paul Blart: Mall Cop, a mourner in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (which was a very funny movie), and a screaming woman(?) in theThe Maiden Heist.

Boris McGiver (Isaac): played Doug in Taking Woodstock, and iin 2 episodes of Law and Order: Criminal intent.

Okaayyyyy I think I pretty much summed the whole book/acting thing up.

Updates...

Heyy people!

Sooo anyways, last week Lisi updated about having a Clique DS game. Appearently several sites have talked about this but refering it with different names: Teen Queen and Diss & Make Up.
Lisi mentioned in her post that it was called Diss and Make up. I guess that's its real name.

"Your task is to arrive as a new student in high school in New York City, making friends and increasing your popularity in an effort to join the ultimate clique, the Pretty Committee.You can, of course, increase your social standing by playing a variety of mini-games to earn money for the latest clothing and accessories. There will also be challenges and tricky situations galore as you interact with the various stereotypical characters aka the gorgeous one, the one who thinks she needs to lose weight, the super smart one etc."

Annnd I was looking up Lisi Harrison awn Little Brown and Company website and I found this:

How awesome is that? Not only will the CLique-tionary come out but, The Alphas, Boys R Us, These Boots Are Made For Stalking, Charmed and Dangerous: The rise of the Pretty Committee, and now a novella called Silent Night, Holy fight!!! Lisi sure is working hard. =)

"Things got pretty funny once the horse scenes started. One day, I got all my gear on for riding practice and it was soooo cold that day, so I was extra bundled up. My dad was with me and he insisted that I wear 10 layers. LOL. There I was, the Michelin man with a riding helmet. Elizabeth shows up and takes one look at me and starts cracking up. I said, "Do I look that funny?" she just kept laughing. I got the hint.

I just found out (I know I'm slow), that Ellen Marlow got press in the New York Post!!! Check it out here. She's in a picture too.

Ellen MArlow has also been rumored to be filming a Television film with ABC produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (for full details of his work click here.) Which has been confirmed by Ellen Marlow's official website.


The Clique movie website was closed down but now is opened with cute pictures from the film.

And I also found out that Samantha Boscarino (ALicia) has an official website that I will soon be adding to my clique links. Ahw-some! I found out that Sam played in a professional Baseball Team last year so her role in the Perfect Game is, well, perfect!

Again, really sorry I haven't been posting but my internet has been dead for a loonnnnng time.

It's really hard for me to fit Clique blogging so I'm only going to post on Wednesdays or Tuesdays.

BOOK: Boys R Us. First page and a half :

THE BLOCK ESTATE
WESTCHESTER, NY
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11th
5:35 P.M.

Claire Lyons trudged across the immaculately manicured lawn of the Block Estate, feeling the same way she felt after a worthy contestant got voted off American Idol: Technically, she hadn’t been the one everyone text-rejected. But she felt the sting just the same.
Cam Fisher flirt-punched her shoulder. “You okay?”
“Huh?” Claire glanced up at her crush. The warmth in Cam’s one blue eye and one green eye shielded her against the late afternoon chill. She buried her hands inside the sleeves of the burgundy Briarwood Tomahawks jersey she wore over grey leggings and flirt-punched him back. “Easy!”
“Ow!” He laughed. A grape bubble gum-scented cloud puffed from his mouth. It smelled like love.
“Worried about Massie?” Cam slipped his arm around her shoulder and left it there for approximately three Mississippi’s before stuffing it back in the pocket of his red hoodie.
Claire nodded, nibbling her Blistex-coated bottom lip to keep from purring. Now was not the time to think about how she and Cam were so close or how he could practically read her mind. And now was definitely not the time to sneak an intoxicating noseful of Drakkar Noir. Now was the time to focus on being there for Massie, since the rest of the Pretty Committee was avoiding her way Lindsay avoided food.
It had been less than forty-eight hours since Alicia, Dylan, and Kristen had boycotted Massie’s Friday night sleepover, but to Claire, it felt longer than lent. She’d spent most of that time fielding four-way texts and calls from her friends, having no idea how to respond. Dylan vented about how she and Derrington could have taken their crush public a week earlier if it weren’t for Massie holding her back. Alicia bragged how much better her cheer squad, the Heart-Nets, was going to be than Massie’s, since Alicia was a superior choreographer. And Kristen kept moaning about bad sushi.
Massie, on the other hand, hadn’t reached out since Claire and Cam had shown up to her sleepover and found her totally alone. Her silence felt eerie, like the calm before the doors opened for a 75 percent off sale at BCBG. Because madness was sure to follow.
“Do you really think Alicia and Dylan’ll stay mad forever?” Cam’s gentle voice brought Claire back.
She wished she could tell Cam that the Pretty Committee would be back together before dinner. But Alicia and Dylan seemed done with Massie’s rigid, Lycra-ing ways. Done with the alpha controlling who they crushed on, what they wore, and what they did with their Friday nights. Actually, Claire understood their frustration better than anybody. Before Massie, she’d been perfectly content with her non-designer wardrobe. Now, she could barely walk past an Old Navy without imagining being shot at by a round of deadly comebacks.
“Dunno,” she replied honestly. She tried not to think about what could happen if her friends stayed mad. Sure, Lycra kept a tight hold on things. It could even feel suffocating. But it also held everything in its place. Without Massie, the Pretty Committee could fall apart. And where would that leave Claire?
“Sucks,” he offered, obviously trying to sound sympathetic and male at the same time.
It was adorable that Cam thought he knew just how dire the situation was. But no matter how many times Claire tried to explain, he couldn’t possibly understand. At this point a reunion for the Pretty Committee seemed less likely than a five-year wedding anniversary for Spencer and Heidi.

Yup, this is BIG news. Now that I have read this I sooooo want to read it. Ugh, I can't believe it's coming out in July. That's like 3 months away!!!

PROJECTS:

-Lisi has updated that the next clique movie will be made when the economic times are better. Of course that doesn't mean one will be made.

-Sam's project , The Perfect Game, in which she plays Gloria, will come out this year. Stars Jake T. Austin (Wizards of Waverly Place, Hotel for Dogs, Go Diego Go) and Moises Arias (Hannah Montana, Nacho Libre).
-Sophie tells us that she might have an upcoming project, which is really cool.

-Bridget's film, Labor Pains, with Lindsey Lohan. She plays Emma. Will be Released May 23.

- Bridget is in post-production filming Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. Playing a character named Becca. Coming out December 25, 2009.

Hey people!

Sorry I haven't been posting that much but htere really hasn't been any news... That's really sad, I know. It IS a good thing that they will still have Best Friends For Never as a movie.

BTW, Samantha Boscarino (Alicia)'s upcoming movie Perfect Game, is based awn a tuh-rue story. It's nawt out yet but now you can visit the official site to learn more about it here. Nothing about Samantha Boscarino is mentioned yet though.

Oh and I'm sorry to say that The Clique Movie community is closing Decmber 31. Eh-ma-gawd !

Updates!

Hey people !

Lisi updated her BLAH-g and posted who won the signed poster: hint : it wasn't me. She also said she was going to do the same thing with the soundtrack so post up a comment with a Clique boy's name (Cam, Derrington, Josh, Plovert, Kemp, etc...). I'm SO exited: the Clique DVD comes out in 4 days!!! or 3 days; however you want to say it.
Sophie Everhard (Dylan Marvil), e-mailed me telling me she was going to post up a bunch of Q&A on her site (in Clique links) after the movie comes out. She's super nice. She even said good work with the whole blog thing so I guess that's another reason for me to keep posting! =)
I also wanted to remind everyone-that tonight's Tyra Show will be awn special with the Clique but it hasn't been announced for sure yet. Special thanks to anonymous for reminding us.
Then we also have a 5 question interview with Samantha Boscarino (Alicia Revera) who also sings in the Clique Movie Soundtrack (She also wrote the song, Lisi tells us). I posted 2 of my fave questions below and you can see the whole thing here.

Q: What’s your favorite outfit in the movie?
A: My favorite outfit is a Michael Kors leopard trenchcoat and a long sleeve turtleneck with gold buttons. I also have this cool little hat and leopard high heels that are really cute.

Q: Why do you think Clique fans and people who aren’t yet Clique fans will love this movie?
A: Kids are going to love The Clique because it’s funny, with all the lingo, it has a lot of great style tips and it shows that you don’t always have to be mean and popular to be with the in crowd, you can just be yourself.

DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN ONE WORD.
hmmmmmm. Spunky!

WHAT ACTING EXPERIENCE DID YOU HAVE PRIOR TO THE CLIQUE?
I’ve been doing commercials since I was nine, I filmed a movie called The Perfect Game which comes out in August, and I took many acting classes, and still do so I can keep improving.

WERE YOU A FAN OF THE SERIES BEFORE YOU GOT THE PART? IF SO WHICH CHARACTER DID YOU RELATE TO THE MOST?
It’s funny because about a week before I got called to audition, my friend Lindsey was like “Oh my gosh Sam you have to read these Clique books! They’re so good!”. So when I got called to audition for The Clique I was super excited and I called Lindsey and I was like “Tell me everything about the books!”. But now I’ve read them all and I’m actually reading them again because I’m addicted. I’d say I relate to Alicia the most, not just because I play her, but because we have a lot of things in common such as we’re both dancers, we both have Schwinn bikes, and we both love gossip and fashion! haha.

WHAT DID YOU DO TO PREPARE FOR ALICIA?
I read the books to learn every detail about her from the way she thinks, to the way she talks, and to the way she walks. I watched movies such as Mean Girls to get some inspiration, and I met with my acting coach to get some pointers.

WHICH WAS YOUR FAVORITE SCENE TO DO? LEAST FAVORITE?
Oh Gosh! There is so many to choose from. One of my favorite scenes was the pool scene. I was a little nervous at first because we only had one take to jump in the pool and it had to be perfect. But we pulled it off and we go to play around in the pool after. It was so much fun! My least favorite scenes would have to be when we are walking outside because it was freeeezing cold, and sometimes we were only wearing skirts with tights. Brrrrrrrrrrr!

DID YOU AND THE OTHER CAST MEMBERS HAVE ANY INSIDE JOKES OR MAKE UP ANY NEW EXPRESSIONS? CAN YOU SHARE ONE (EVEN IF IT WAS AN HTBT- HAD TO BE THERE)
Haha if I told you they wouldn’t be inside anymore. Ok ok of course I’ll tell you! One is Ugly Baby, which you will probably see a lot of in special features. We made up over 20 “Ugly Babies”, and I laugh every time I think about it. We all had separate handshakes with each other too. And everyone always tried to figure out what Bridget and I say while we do our handshake, but they still can’t figure it out! Also, one night we were all in Ellen’s room playing Mexican Train and we were trying to make up new “Massie Jokes”, and I came up with this infamous one, “Are you from a bird’s butt? Then why are you acting like such a turd!?”

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING NOW THAT THE SHOOT IS OVER?
I’ve been keeping busy by going on auditions, filming a couple commercials, doing some photo shoots, and I’m counting down the days until we go back and film Clique 2.

HAS YOUR LIFE CHANGED?
My life hasn’t really changed. The only thing that’s different is I’ve gained a little more fans and I’ve met new people. But I still feel the same, very blessed.

DID YOU GET TO KEEP ANY OF THE AH-MAZING WARDROBE?
I WISH! Unfortunately we didn’t get to keep the clothes. The only thing I got to keep were these super cute earrings I wear in the pool scene, and a Briarwood hat.

ANYTHING TO SAY TO CLIQUE FANS?

The movie was so much fun to make, and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as we loved making it.
